MadePro Conference is the event where it all comes to life. We meet as professionals and artists, as enthusiasts and dreamers. A place where we come together, make friends, have fun, share our passion, experience and skills.
MadePro organizes workshops that create connections between us. They help us develop and shape our identity as authors. We learn and share together with artists and professionals.
We started in 2018: the month was April and the place – Pomorie. There, just meters from the sea in the big hall of the “People’s Library PROVVETA 1888” we held the first conference – “Photoschool Conference 2018”.
The idea was born in a conversation between Ivo and Yasho and sometime a year before the first edition we were already discussing the event with our colleagues from the Photoschool.bg team. Then with great enthusiasm we rolled up our sleeves and organized it, hoping to bring together a diverse community of photographers, representing different genres, professionals and amateurs. On stage we gathered a palette of Bulgarian photographers. Lecturers from different fields of photography. Of course, there was also an exhibition part with photographic equipment, professional video and photo lighting and high quality photographic printing.
In 2019, the second edition of “Photoschool Conference 2019” took place, and we wished to invite famous names from the world of photography. This put the event on a bigger stage and turned the conference into something more significant for photography in the Balkans. The conference was held with international participation and speakers from Russia, Spain, Romania and Bulgaria.
In the same year, we started to organize trainings – workshops with guest speakers from abroad: wedding photography and conceptual portrait photography.
In 2020, despite the difficulties related to the global pandemic of COVID-19 and several changes of dates for the event, the 3rd edition of the “Photoschool conference 2020” took place with speakers from France, Russia, Argentina, Spain and Bulgaria. Trainings – workshops were held on the topics of Children’s Photography and Wedding Photography.
In 2021, in a less pandemic environment, but with no less enthusiasm, we held the 4th edition of “Photoschool conference” with guests on stage from Spain, Poland, Greece, Serbia, Croatia, Russia and Bulgaria.

MadePro was born on the eve of 2022 with the ambition to become a place that develops, helps and unites the photography community in Bulgaria.
With the MadePro Conference we are making a new beginning in the hope that this international event will be recognized by a wider audience among photographers and videographers in Bulgaria, to involve artists and professionals from different genres in the world of photography and to mediate more and more connections between photographers in the Balkans.
MadePro aims to organize and hold events that help in the creative and professional path of photographers, videographers and related visual artists. To pose themes about professional and commercial development as well as the path of the artist and the author. To initiate and moderate conversations about the art of photography and the challenges of different photographic genres.
MadePro and MadePro Conference are a project of Ivo - Ivelin Iliev and Yasho - Yavor Sedyankov, as part of and together with Photoschool.bg, the largest school for photography courses in Bulgaria, where besides practical skills the students build a deeper attitude towards photography and, last but not least, create friendships.
