Encounters: Intuition, Identity and the Art of Crossing Boundaries

I believe that life is made up of perfect moments. Some are big events – like your wedding day. Others seem small in the moment, but over time turn into treasures: the afternoon your dad taught you to tie your shoes, the look with your sister or brother that says it all, the moment you call your mom from across the room because you lost something.

My personal work is focused on capturing the perfect moment, not the perfect life. Because in the imperfect and natural lies the secret of beauty and love. My philosophy is that people trust me to play, observe and feel. We have always been taught to separate the different industries. When I entered the wedding world, I already had five years of experience in fashion and everyone was advising me to have separate sites, separate brands, separate identities.

Then I got into cinema and over time I realized that these different directions are my strength. Everything is fed by everything else – my influences, my family, my creativity, my experience. My universe.

And every universe is unique.
And that is exactly our superpower.

Selected weddings: Rafa Nadal & Mery Perelló, Feliciano López & Sandra Gago, German royalty – Duchess Von Württemberg & Maximilien de Andigné, Oscar-winning cinematographer Guillermo Navarro & Susana Tembleque, Marco Asensio & Sandra Garal and Willy Rex & Cris Iturbe, alongside many celebrated figures from the art and creative world. I chose to document from a place of creativity rather than product, and carried out the first 16mm film project ever made at a wedding. I have also spent over 20 years directing fashion campaigns, with my analog photography featured on the covers of international magazines. I know how to speak the language of media, having worked with Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Hello!, and Moments Magazine, among others… Though my favorites have always been the independents. In recent years I entered the world of cinema, where I work as on-set diarist, still photographer, and poster artist.

In short: because space does not limit art, play fuels the imagination – and my creative hunger is always waiting for the next challenge.
